A Message from Fr. Truc:
Dear Parishioners & Friends,
2012 Stewardship is our human responses to God’s many blessings. Stewardship is our commitment to evangelize that God loves us all unconditionally. The giving of your time, talents, and treasure to the parish during this year, is to continue the mission of Jesus Christ who came to save us. We are all invited to participate by living the way of stewardship because we believe that “Jesus is the Holy One of God.”
Therefore, this weekend I am reaching out to you to help us to sustain our faith formation, and to promote Jesus’ healing love. I encourage each person and each family to join us in the 2012 Treasure Commitment Program or Sunday Stewardship Offering.
Our 2012 goal is $350,000. We hope that at least 275-350 families will use the Sunday offering envelopes. Your Sunday stewardship is vital to our parish’s ongoing efforts to evangelize God’s Word and Sacraments.
If all 350 active members of our parish made a commitment of $1000 a year, we will accomplish our 2012 goal. This will equate to less than $85 per month. This is certainly a reasonable and achievable amount. Your stewardship offering through using the envelopes, will help the finance council and me to plan and budget our parish expenses and the renovations of our church.
